Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

  • Dark rum 1 12 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Apple juice 2 oz.
  • Lemon juice 12 oz.
  • Salted butter 0.35 oz.
  • Lime 1 12 oz.
  • Honey 0.35 oz.
  • Ground cinnamon 0.03 oz.
  • Cinnamon sticks 0.15 oz.
  • Cookie 34 oz.

Directions

  1. Place 0.35 oz of honey, 2 bar spoons of salted butter, and a pinch of ground cinnamon into a milk pitcher
  2. Pour in 0.5 oz of lemon juice, 2 oz of apple juice, 0.35 oz of sugar syrup and 1.5 oz of dark rum
  3. Stir while heating, but do not bring to the boil
  4. Fine strain into an irish coffee glass
  5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve with a lime half with cookies
