Rum Steak

Ingredients

  • Aged rum 2 oz.
  • Absinthe 0.15 oz.
  • Peychaud's bitters 0.03 oz.
  • Homemade maple syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Jerky with acacia honey 0.15 oz.
  • Ice cubes 14 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes
  2. Pour 0.35 oz of homemade maple syrup, 0.15 oz of absinthe and 2 oz of aged rum into a mixing glass
  3. Add 1 dash of peychaud's bitters
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes and stir gently
  5. Strain into the rocks glass
  6. Garnish with a slice of jerky with acacia honey
