Gin Mule

Ingredients

  • London dry gin 2 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 1 oz.
  • Lemon juice 12 oz.
  • Club soda 4 oz.
  • Lime 0.35 oz.
  • Ginger root 12 oz.
  • Ice cubes 15 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a highball glass to the top with ice cubes
  2. Place 2 slices of ginger root into a shaker and muddle
  3. Pour in 0.5 oz of lemon juice, 1 oz of sugar syrup and 2 oz of gin
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  5. Fine strain into the highball glass
  6. Top up with club soda and stir gently
  7. Garnish with a lime wheel and a slice of ginger root
