Samoan Fog Cutter

Ingredients

  • White rum 1 12 oz.
  • London dry gin 1 oz.
  • Cherry liqueur 34 oz.
  • Fino sherry 1 oz.
  • Grapefruit bitters 0.06 oz.
  • Almond syrup 34 oz.
  • Orange juice 3 oz.
  • Lemon juice 12 oz.
  • Red maraschino cherry 0.15 oz.
  • Pineapple leaves 2  
  • Orange zest 1  
  • Crushed ice 7 oz.
  • Ice cubes 7 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a sling glass to the top with crushed ice
  2. Pour 0.5 oz of lemon juice, 3 oz of orange juice, 0.75 oz of almond syrup, 1 oz of fino sherry, 0.75 oz of cherry liqueur, 1 oz of gin and 1.5 oz of white rum into a shaker
  3. Add 2 dashes of grapefruit bitters
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  5. Strain into the sling glass
  6. Garnish with orange zest, a maraschino cherry and pineapple leaves
