Smoked Mulled Wine

Ingredients

  • Tawny port 4 oz.
  • Cherry syrup 34 oz.
  • Lapsang souchong tea 1 12 oz.
  • Apple 1 12 oz.
  • Honey 0.35 oz.
  • 
Cloves 0.1 oz.
  • Ground cinnamon 0.03 oz.

Directions

  1. Pour 1.5 oz of lapsang souchong, 0.75 oz of cherry syrup and 4 oz of tawny port into a milk pitcher
  2. Add 0.35 oz of honey, a pinch of ground cinnamon and 3 cloves
  3. Stir while heating, but do not bring to the boil
  4. Fine strain into an irish coffee glass
  5. Garnish with two green apple wedges
