Mai Tai

Ingredients

  • Aged rum 2 oz.
  • Dry orange liqueur 34 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Almond syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Lime juice 34 oz.
  • Pineapple 1 oz.
  • Mint 0.03 oz.
  • Red maraschino cherry 0.15 oz.
  • Crushed ice 5 oz.
  • Ice cubes 7 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a rocks glass to the top with crushed ice
  2. Pour 0.75 oz of lime juice, 0.35 oz of sugar syrup, 0.35 oz of almond syrup, 0.75 oz of dry orange liqueur and 2 oz of aged rum into a shaker
  3. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  4. Strain into the rocks glass
  5. Top up with crushed ice
  6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, a pineapple wedge and a mint sprig
