My Sister Daisy

Ingredients

  • London dry gin 1 oz.
  • Amaro 1 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 34 oz.
  • Orange juice 12 oz.
  • Lime juice 34 oz.
  • Quail egg white 12 oz.
  • Mint 0.06 oz.
  • Star anise 0.06 oz.
  • Ice cubes 7 oz.

Directions

  1. Gently roll 8 mint leaves between your hands and place them into a shaker
  2. Add 0.5 oz of quail egg white, 0.5 oz of orange juice, 0.75 oz of lime juice, 0.75 oz of sugar syrup, 30 ml of amaro and 1 oz of gin
  3. Give it a good dry shake
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake again
  5. Strain into a chilled champagne saucer
  6. Garnish with a star anise
