Sandthorn Mulled Wine

Ingredients

  • Triple sec liqueur 0.35 oz.
  • Dry red wine 5 oz.
  • Orange 34 oz.
  • Thyme 0.15 oz.
  • Sea buckthorn jam 0.35 oz.
  • Cinnamon sticks 0.15 oz.
  • 
Cloves 0.1 oz.
  • Lemon zest 1  

Directions

  1. Place 2 bar spoons of sea buckthorn into a milk pitcher
  2. Add a small orange wedge, lemon zest, 3 cloves and a cinnamon stick
  3. Pour in 5 oz of dry red wine and 0.35 oz of triple sec liqueur
  4. Stir while heating, but do not bring to the boil
  5. Pour into an Irish coffee glass
  6. Garnish with a thyme sprig
