Golden Mai Tai

Ingredients

  • Gold rum 1 12 oz.
  • Triple sec liqueur 12 oz.
  • Angostura bitters 0.03 oz.
  • Almond syrup 12 oz.
  • Lime juice 12 oz.
  • Lime 34 oz.
  • Mint 0.03 oz.
  • Crushed ice 5 oz.
  • Ice cubes 7 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a rocks glass to the top with crushed ice
  2. Pour 0.5 oz of lime juice, 0.5 oz of almond syrup, 0.5 oz of triple sec liqueur and 1.5 oz of gold rum into a shaker
  3. Add 1 dash of angostura bitters
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  5. Strain into the rocks glass
  6. Top up with crushed ice
  7. Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig
