Orient Express

Ingredients

  • Scotch whisky 1 12 oz.
  • Cinnamon liqueur 0.35 oz.
  • Vanilla syrup 34 oz.
  • Lemon juice 12 oz.
  • Quail egg white 1 oz.
  • Orange 1 12 oz.
  • Ginger root 0.1 oz.
  • Red maraschino cherry 0.15 oz.
  • Ice cubes 11 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a rocks glass to the top with ice cubes
  2. Place a slice of ginger root into a shaker and muddle
  3. Pour in 1 oz of quail egg white, 0.5 oz of lemon juice, 0.75 oz of vanilla syrup, 0.35 oz of cinnamon liqueur and 1.5 oz of scotch whisky
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake thoroughly
  5. Fine strain into the rocks glass
  6. Garnish with orange wedges and a maraschino cherry on a cocktail skewer
