Hot Gold

Ingredients

  • Cognac 2 oz.
  • Amaretto liqueur 2 oz.
  • Orange juice 16 oz.
  • Orange 1 oz.
  • Vanilla granulated sugar 12 oz.
  • Cinnamon sticks 0.15 oz.
  • 
Cloves 0.15 oz.
  • Ground nutmeg 0.03 oz.

Directions

  1. Place an orange wheel, 3 bar spoons of vanilla granulated sugar, a cinnamon stick, 5 cloves and a pinch of ground nutmeg into a milk pitcher
  2. Pour in 16 oz of orange juice, 2 oz of amaretto liqueur and 2 oz of cognac
  3. Stir while heating, but do not bring to the boil
  4. Pour into a french press together with orange and spices
