The Grass by the Sea

Ingredients

  • Vodka 1 oz.
  • Absinthe 12 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 12 oz.
  • Club soda 3 12 oz.
  • Lemon 3 oz.
  • Mint 0.1 oz.
  • Ice cubes 13 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a highball glass to the top with ice cubes
  2. Place 10 mint leaves, a chopped half of lemon into a shaker and muddle
  3. Pour in 0.5 oz of sugar syrup, 0.5 oz of absinthe and 1 oz of vodka
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  5. Fine strain into the highball glass
  6. Top up with club soda and stir gently
  7. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lemon wedge on a cocktail skewer
