French Collins

Ingredients

  • Cognac 2 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Club soda 4 oz.
  • Lime 1 12 oz.
  • Green grapes 1 oz.
  • Red basil 14 oz.
  • Crushed ice 7 oz.

Directions

  1. Place 6 green grapes and 10 red basil leaves into a highball glass
  2. Add a chopped lime half and muddle
  3. Fill the highball glass to the top with crushed ice
  4. Pour in 0.35 oz of sugar syrup and 2 oz of cognac
  5. Top up with club soda and stir gently
  6. Top up with crushed ice
  7. Garnish with a sprig of red basil
