  • Banana sambuca 1 12 oz.
  • Blue curacao liqueur 34 oz.
  • Lemon juice 12 oz.
  • Star anise 0.06 oz.
  • Crushed ice 3 oz.


  1. Use bar spoon to layer on 0.75 oz of blue curacao liqueur and 0.5 oz of lemon juice into a cocktail glass
  2. Pour 1.5 oz of banana sambuca into a cognac glass and set sambuca on fire
  3. Pour the flaming sambuca into the cocktail glass and put the upturned cognac glass onto the cocktail glass
  4. Wait for the cocktail to rise and carefully turn the glasses upside down
  5. Fill the cognac glass to the top with crushed ice
  6. Garnish with a star anise
