Mexican Pie

Ingredients

  • Silver tequila 1 12 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 1 oz.
  • Orange juice 34 oz.
  • Heavy cream 34 oz.
  • Quail egg yolk 5  
  • Orange 1 oz.
  • Ginger root 0.15 oz.
  • Ice cubes 9 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a red wine glass to the top with ice cubes
  2. Place a slice of ginger root into a shaker and muddle
  3. Pour in 5 quail egg yolks, 0.75 oz of heavy cream, 0.75 oz of orange juice, 1 oz of sugar syrup and 1.5 oz of silver tequila
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake thoroughly
  5. Strain into the red wine glass
  6. Garnish with an orange wheel
