The Battle of Algiers

Ingredients

  • Gold rum 2 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Pineapple juice 5 oz.
  • Lemon juice 12 oz.
  • Pineapple 1 oz.
  • Ground cinnamon 0.03 oz.
  • Ice cubes 6 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a highball glass to the top with ice cubes
  2. Pour in 0.5 oz of lemon juice, 0.35 oz of sugar syrup and 2 oz of gold rum
  3. Add a pinch of ground cinnamon
  4. Top up with pineapple juice and stir gently
  5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge
