The Great Gatsby

Ingredients

  • Dry orange liqueur 0.35 oz.
  • Maraschino liqueur 0.35 oz.
  • Angostura bitters 0.1 oz.
  • Vanilla syrup 0.35 oz.
  • Quail egg white 12 oz.
  • Quail egg yolk 1  
  • Ice cubes 7 oz.

Directions

  1. Pour 0.35 oz of vanilla liqueur, 0.35 oz of maraschino liqueur and 0.35 oz of dry orange liqueur into a shaker
  2. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  3. Strain into a shot glass
  4. Put carefully 1 quail egg yolk into the shot glass
  5. Pour 0.5 oz of quail egg white into a bowl and whisk for a couple of minutes
  6. Use bar spoon to layer on whisked foam on the cocktail
  7. Garnish with few drops of angostura bitters
