ABC Frappe

Ingredients

  • London dry gin 1 12 oz.
  • Absinthe 0.35 oz.
  • Triple sec liqueur 1 oz.
  • Sugar syrup 0.15 oz.
  • Lime juice 1 oz.
  • Raspberry 0.15 oz.
  • Green basil 0.1 oz.
  • Ice cubes 7 oz.
  • Crushed ice 3 12 oz.

Directions

  1. Fill a champagne saucer with crushed ice, pour in 0.35 oz of absinthe and put it aside
  2. Place 5 green basil leaves into a shaker
  3. Add 1 oz of lime juice, 0.15 oz of sugar syrup and muddle
  4. Pour in 1 oz of triple sec liqueur and 1.5 oz of gin
  5. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
  6. Stir absinthe with ice and pour it out of the glass
  7. Fine strain the cocktail into the champagne saucer
  8. Garnish with a green basil leaf and a raspberry
