Miso soup

Miso soup is a traditional Japanese dish from soybean paste. It served with rice. This soup prepares for lunch, dinner, breakfast. Due to prevailing in the great antiquity of religious traditions, it appears on the Japanese table every day.  So every family has its own recipe of cooking, individual options for ingredients. There are a lot of recipes miso soup today, but all of them have based on the base a traditional recipe. All ingredients for miso soup you can order on the internet or buy in the closest Japanese store.


  • miso (soybean paste white) 12 cup
  • tofu (diced) 3 oz.
  • dried seaweed wakame or nori 1 tbsp.
  • water 4 cups
  • leek (chopped) 2 tbsp.
  • dashi powder 1 12 tsp.


  1. Bring to boil water in a saucepan. Add dashi powder, stir until smooth and make a medium heat.
  2. Put a tofu in the saucepan, diced by 1 inch.
  3. Add dried seaweed wakame or nori, boil for 2 minutes at low heat.
  4. Put miso paste in a bowl, pour a little broth from the soup, stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into the soup, turn off the heat and mix well.
  6. Sprinkle miso soup with leek rings before serving.
  7. Enjoy your meal!!!
