Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes are the most popular side dish all over the world. It is versatile, delicious and allows you to experiment with the design of food. Mashed potatoes wonderfully combined with any meat, vegetables, fish.


  • potatoes (500 gram) 1 lb.
  • milk 1 cup
  • butter (30 gram) 1 oz.
  • water
  • parsley, scallions or dill (optional)
  • salt and black pepper, to taste


  1. Peel potatoes and put in a saucepan. Do not need cut potatoes, because it is, of course, quickly cooked, but lose a lot of starch. Pour water to cover potatoes, add salt. Bring to boil water over the high heat and then cook on the low heat about 15-20 minutes until soft.
  2. Carefully knead potato with the potato masher. Add part of warm milk and knead again until potatoes absorb the ​milk. Gradually add the remaining milk and mix thoroughly. Add butter and whisk until dissolved oil.
  3. Served hot with parsley, dill or scallions. Optional add beet juice or carrot juice to change the color of mashed potatoes. Enjoy your meal!!!
