Place meat in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil. Season with salt to taste. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until cooked. Drain and let it cool.
Boil the potatoes with the carrots in a medium pot with water just until tender, 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the vegetables. Let it cool and then peel potatoes and carrot.
Drain the pea well and put into a salad bowl. Cut the potatoes, carrots, hard-boiled eggs, cooked meat, pickles into small ¼ inch dice. Mix all the ingredients with the mayonnaise. Optionally add finely chopped onion. Season with salt to taste. Enjoy your meal!!!
