Cabbage Roll Skillet Casserole

Cabbage roll skillet casserole is the quick and easy recipe for cabbage casserole!!! It is a perfect solution for family dinner.


  • rice 1 cup
  • ground beef 2 lb.
  • onion, finely chopped 1 pcs.
  • garlic, minced 5 pcs.
  • cabbage, chopped or shredded 12 head
  • red pepper, chopped 1 pcs.
  • diced tomatoes (14.5 oz) or cherry tomato (7-10 pcs.) 1 can
  • marinara or tomato sauce 1 can
  • olive oil or butter 2 tbsp.
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Rinse and boil rice until half cooked about 10-15 minutes.

In a large skillet drizzled with oil, on medium heat, brown ground beef until no longer pink. Add half cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic and continue cooking for a couple of minutes. Add chopped cabbage, red pepper, tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, spices to the pan and stir to combine. Cover and simmer about 20-30 minutes until the cabbage is soft. Enjoy your meal!!!
