Mushroom Oats Cutlet

Easy vegetable cutlets for vegans and vegetarians. If desired, do not add egg and cheese to cutlets.


  • oats 2 cups
  • mushrooms (wash and grate) 5 pcs.
  • tomato, chopped 1 pcs.
  • onion, finely chopped 1 pcs.
  • eggs 2 pcs.
  • sour cream 1 tbsp.
  • all-purpose flour 1 tbsp.
  • grated cheese, optional 1 tbsp.
  • vegetable oil 1 tbsp.
  • salt and spices, to taste

Pour oats with boiling water, cover the bowl with a lid, leave for 10-15 minutes.

Thoroughly rinse and then grate the mushrooms.

Blend tomato and onion with a mixer until smooth. Heat a skillet over high heat drizzled with oil. Add grated mushrooms, chopped tomato and onion.

Fry about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let it cool.

Mix fried mushrooms with eggs, flour, grated cheese, sour cream. Season with salt and spices. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix.

Fry on the both sides about 4-5 minutes until brown or bake in the oven.
