Peach Compote

Fruit compote for summer days. Serve hot or cold.


  • peach (450 gram) 1 lb.
  • water 1 liter
  • sugar 12 cup
  • whole cloves (optional) 2 pcs.


  1. Rinse peaches thoroughly. Remove stones from peaches. Optionally remove skins. Add peaches and sugar into a saucepan. Cover with water. Optionally add cloves. Boil about 5-10 minutes after boiling. Serve hot or cold.
