Stuffed Peppers

Stuffed peppers with ground beef, rice, onion, grated carrot and tomato sauce for dinner. Served with sour cream.


  • bell pepper 3 pcs.
  • ground beef (450 gram) 1 lb.
  • cooked rice 1 cup
  • egg 1 pcs.
  • chopped onion 1 pcs.
  • salt and spice, to taste
  • water, to cover on a half stuffed bell pepper
  • tomato sauce 3 tbsp.
  • grated carrot 1 pcs.
  • sour cream, to taste

Step 1
Mix minced beef, cooked rice, egg, chopped onion, salt, spices in a bowl. Cut a thin slice from stem end of each bell pepper to remove the top of pepper. Remove seeds and membranes; rinse peppers. Cut bell pepper into halves. Stuff peppers with beef mixture. Pour water to cover bell peppers on a half. Cover with grated carrot, chopped onion, tomato sauce.

Simmer, covered, until cooked through about 30 minutes. Serve hot with sour cream. Enjoy your meal!!!
