Fried Potatoes with Mushrooms

A simple recipe of fried potatoes with mushrooms. It is easy and tasty.

Ingredients

  • potatoes 8 pcs.
  • mushrooms (champignons or brown mushrooms) 2 cups
  • onion, chopped 1 pcs.
  • extra virgin olive oil 3 tbsp.
  • salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Wash, peel and cut potatoes. Finely chop onions. Wash mushrooms and dry them. Cut into slices.
  2. Heat the frying pan with olive oil and then add mushrooms. Fry for 5-7 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove fried mushrooms into a bowl.
  3. Add into the pan 2-3 tablespoons of oil. Heat and then add potatoes. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. After 5-7 minutes add chopped onion. Fry over the medium heat without a lid until soft potatoes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add fried mushrooms. Fry a couple of minutes. Serve hot as a main dish or side dish. Enjoy your meal!!!
