Baked Pumpkin Apple Dessert

Easy baked pumpkin apple dessert for fall days and Thanksgiving Day.

Ingredients

  • pumpkin, peeled and chopped (450 gram) 1 lb.
  • apple 3 pcs.
  • cinnamon and cardamom, to taste
  • water or milk 1 cup
  • sugar, to taste 2 tbsp.
  • yeast 1 tbsp.
  • all-purpose flour 2 cups
  • egg 1 pcs. 1 pcs.
  • salt, to taste 1 tsp.
  • butter (30 gram) 1 oz.

Peel and dice apples.

Peel and chop pumpkin. Fry it on the medium heat with butter until soft.

Mix warm milk or water, sugar, yeast. Add all-purpose flour, egg, salt, butter. Mix thoroughly. Leave the dough for 30-45 minutes in warm place. Drizzle olive oil on a baking sheet and then spread the dough on it. Cover the dough with fried pumpkin and apples. And then top with the rested dough again. Optionally sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom, to taste.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy your meal!!!
