Roasted BBQ Pork Knuckle

Deliciously roasted pork knuckle in BBQ sauce for dinner. Optionally, serve with sauerkraut or baked potatoes and, of course, beer.


  • pork knuckle 1 pcs.
  • tomato 1 pcs.
  • bell pepper 1 pcs.
  • onion 1 pcs.
  • carrot 2 pcs.
  • garlic 2 cloves
  • bay leaf 1 pcs.
  • beer (0.7 liters) 1 bottle
  • spices, to taste
  • BBQ sauce 1 cup

Step 1
Boil a knuckle. Place in a large saucepan, cover with water. Add tomato, bell pepper, onion, carrot, garlic, bay leaf and spices for meat. Pour in a bottle of beer. Cook about 1.5 hours.

Remove from the saucepan. Let it cool a little bit. Spread the knuckle with BBQ sauce over the top. Cover meat with foil. Put into the preheated oven to 360°F (180°C).

Step 3
Pour with broth every 20 minutes and bake in the oven about 40 minutes depending on the size of meat. Optionally, serve with sauerkraut or baked potatoes and of course beer. Enjoy your meal!!!
